Katie, 44, has allowed the cameras into her West Sussex home while she renovates it.

Her sister Sophie joined her in the latest installment of her home series, and they shared their experiences of being in the period property.

Katie asked Amy: "So what do you remember from the top floor?"

Amy replied: "Dark, creepy, I remember you sending me videos of a ghost boy at the top."

Katie's sister was shocked to see how Katie had transformed the space into a cinema room, a bedroom and a relaxation room.

"I'm really surprised," she said.

"I knew it was going to be very her, very pink, glitter, but she's done well, she's put a lot of thought

"This space has been a bit left, and it's so nice to see it used and to see her enjoying it and to see her happy.

"I think it's lovely, it's such a good little Kate space."

Katie bought the huge property for £1.3m in 2014.

She lives in the Mucky Mansion with her five kids Princess, 15, Junior, 17, Harvey, 20, eight, Jett, eight, and Bunny, seven.

But the star explained that when she hit rock bottom she didn't want to stay in her mansion.

Katie explained: "I found it hard to come to the house. I had bad memories of it all.

“I was introduced to someone who wanted to turn it into a wedding venue, but it turned out to be a hoax and he ended up fly-tipping all of my land and made my house derelict inside.

“And then it got burgled and someone turned the shower on, so it leaked and my ceiling collapsed. It looked like a building site, so that’s where it got the name Mucky Mansion.”

But three years ago the mum-of-five decided to take matters into her own hands and make it her dream home.

“I wanted to bring love back into the house and that’s what I’ve done.

"The past is the past and the house has got a different feel to it now.

"There is no bad feeling here any more. It really does feel like a home," Katie explained.
