Lorraine Kelly missing from ITV show again as she’s replaced by GMB star
LORRAINE Kelly was missing from her chat show for the second day running after being struck down with sickness.
The Lorraine show host, 63, was replaced at the last minute in a chaotic line-up change on Wednesday.
Today, stand-in anchor Ranvir Singh, 45, who fronts Good Morning Britain, gave a health update on the much-loved Scot as she again took the reins.
She told Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard: “Lorraine is still recovering.
“I got here at 6:30am today – I should be prepared, as opposed to yesterday!”
Lorraine usually presents on weekdays between 9am and 10am.
The TV star later broke her silence after pulling out of her show.
Taking to Twitter just an hour before the programme was due to start, she told fans that she wouldn’t be on their screens.
Lorraine told her 737.7k followers on Twitter: “When you have to be sent home from work early in the morning because you are suddenly attacked by a hideous bug and were looking forward to interviewing @adamlambert.
“Beyond disappointed but imagine if I had infected him!!!!!!”
Good Morning Britiain host Kate Garraway informed viewers of the line-up change.
She said: “I think in almost a first in her 30 year history on breakfast TV she’s gone home.
“She’s not well. She’s got a bug. We’re wishing you very well, Lorraine.”
