Nish Panesar makes chilling ultimatum to wife Suki in EastEnders
MONTHS after being released from prison, Nish Panesar grows increasingly paranoid his wife will run away with another man.
The criminal portrayed by Navin Chowdhry makes a chilling ultimatum to Suki next week in EastEnders.
As viewers will remember, Nish was convicted of murder after killing a man he believed had seduced the businesswoman.
He was thrown behind bars for twenty years and, ahead of his release, Suki told Eve Unwin how afraid she had once been of him due to his controlling and abusive nature.
Next week, Nish makes it clear that old habits die hard.
Coming up on BBC One, Nish tells Suki (Balvinder Sopal) that their marriage blessing ceremony has been brought forward to the following Thursday due to a change in schedule.
Suki tries to stall by insisting it’s too short notice but a controlling Nish insists on re-arranging the day.
Later on, the tap in the Panesar household breaks and Suki calls Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths) for help.
The pair confide about the stresses of family life and Mitch’s words soften Suki – she offers him a permanent job as a handy man for their tenants.
All is well between Suki and Mitch… unaware that Nish watches on in a jealous rage from across Albert Square as the handy man leaves No.41.
Nish spirals but is still intent on focusing on his marriage blessing ceremony with Suki.
He ends up inviting Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and the Slater clan to the event.
At Walford East, Suki grows concerned when she overhears Nish and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) talking about Mitch and the pair erupt in a furious row.
Nish proceeds to drop a troubling threat, prompting Suki to reassure him that he is the only man for her.

But while Nish is keeping an eye on all the men around Suki, he is oblivious to his true rival, Eve Unwin.
Both Eve and Suki embarked on an illicit romance prior to him rocking up Albert Square.
Upon his arrival, Suki decided to suppress her feelings for Eve and stand by her man.
Will this really last?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday on BBC One.
