Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke and husband Gareth expecting twins after baby heartbreak
MADE In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke has revealed he is expecting twins with his husband Gareth.
The reality star, 35, shared the happy news this evening, after three years of heartache.
He told his fans: “We are beyond delighted to finally be able to share the news that we are expecting twin baby Locke-Locke’s into the world this summer!
“You have all been so wonderful throughout the last 3 years of us trying to have a family and we promise to share every step of this adventure with you all.
“For all those on their own journey to become parents we are with you and sending all the baby dust your way! Thank you to our sensational surrogate @bex7ward for being the most incredible human, the love we have for you and your family is just another level! Xx.”
The pair’s famous pals rushed to congratulate them, with Ollie’s bestie Binky Felstead writing: “ITS HAPPENING BABBBBBAYYYYY’s!!!!!!”
Jessica Wright commented: “Congratulations.”
While Cheska Hull added: “Super excited!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ double trouble incoming!!!! Locke-Locke!!!!.”
The couple had their worlds turned upside down when they suffered a heartbreaking loss in December 2021.
Shortly after sharing the exciting news they were to become parents, Ollie, made the announcement that their surrogate had miscarried at six weeks.
Speaking previously to The Sun about their struggle to have a baby, Ollie admitted: “I’m going to be completely real and say that, although we hold each other’s hands and make sure we’re both doing ok, it’s caused us stress and it hasn’t been easy.
“I wouldn’t be a real person if I said the experience has brought us together because that’s not how life is.
“If anything it’s pulled us apart slightly – we’ve spent over £100,000 trying to do this so far and we’ve got no embryos left.
“You sit there and think ‘where has that money gone, have we done something wrong?” We get angry at each other – that’s what a relationship is.”
