Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ who Max Turner’s shocking new love interest is
CORONATION Street fans are convinced they have sussed out Max Turner's new love interest - and it's a shocker.
The wayward teen played by Paddy Bever was cuffed and carted away in recent scenes of the ITV soap after his involvement with Griff Reynolds' far-right group.
As viewers will remember, Max was unfortunately part of a grooming storyline during which the racist activist manipulated him and used his video editing skills to spread his racist views across Weatherfield.
Things took a turn after a bomb was planted in a Speed Daal van amid Maria Connor's Peace Market, forcing Alya Nazir to put her life on the line.
But once she saved the day, the restaurateur was stabbed shortly after Griff's arrest, leading to Max being charged to incitement to murder due to his videos.
Max was then handed a six-month sentence by the Judge before sharing an emotional goodbye with his adoptive father.

Corrie boss Ian Macleod has teased that Max's far right storyline is far from over as it will turn into a rom-com.
He revealed Max will be saved by an unlikely love interest and fans were left speculating who it could be.
One fan wrote: "I assume he is going to date someone his own age. Summer doesn't look at him twice and doesn't like him, plus she'll be involved in the whole Aaron raping Amy storyline.
"Asha won't (I hope at least). There are really no teenage girls on the street who even like Max.

"There's still potential for Max to be bi I guess which might be why Macleod didn't specify a gender. Aaron won't be it obviously.
"Aadi would be too weird for me because I assume Max is still racist. Why would Max or Aadi be interested in the other. Then there's Simon who has no reason to get involved with Max."
However, other fans think the mysterious love interest is Daryan (played by Twana Omer).
Another fan said: "It will be Daryan."
A third agreed: "That's what I thought."
A fourth added: "I assume Daryan."
A fifth recalled: "The way he [Max] was flirting with Daryan in the café."
But some think it may be a new character viewers have yet to meet.
Refugee Daryan Zahawi was part of a harrowing storyline about extremism.
He suffered from an attack from Griff and his far right group of friends - which Max witnessed.
The thugs cornered Daryan in the garden, shouting racist epithets at him after he made it clear he didn't even have money for them to rob.
As he tried to escape, one member of the group punched him in the face and another told him to go back to Pakistan — even though he's not even from Pakistan.
Daryan managed to slipped away, but was dazed and bloodied as the masked racists laughed at him.
Corrie is giving Daryan a brand-new plotline in which he goes looking for his brother.
Daryan meets someone at the same processing centre as his brother.
He excitedly tells Gary and Maria that his brother has ended up in Nottingham, but he's unable to get any more specific details to track him down.
With some money from Maria and Gary, and with his social worker in tow, Daryan eventually heads off to Nottingham to try and finally find his brother.
