Gavin and Stacey stars land new show returning to Barry Island and Wales
GAVIN And Stacey fans are in for a treat as Larry Lamb and Alison Steadman are reuniting for a new television show.
The pair have teamed up for travel series Alison & Larry: Billericay To Barry - in homage to their time on Gavin And Stacey.
Larry, 75, and Alison, 76, found fame on the hit BBC series as Gavin’s parents Mick and Pam Shipman.
Their new three-part series will following them as they embark on the 210 mile journey from Billericay in Essex, where their characters hailed from, to Barry in Wales – where the rest of the iconic cast resided.
Alison said: “I can’t wait to take this trip down memory lane to explore Pam and Mick’s neck of the woods, as well as so many other locations precious to me.
“And who better to do it with than Larry! I’m so excited to be reunited.”

Alison & Larry: Billericay To Barry will air later this summer on Gold and will feature surprise guests as well as activities which see the pair bring out their inner Mick and Pam.
Cult BBC show Gavin And Stacey last aired in December 2019 for a Christmas special.
