Inside Coronation Street star Alexandra Mardell’s boozy hen do as star jets abroad before wedding

CORONATION Street star Alexandra Mardell looked sensational as she jetted to an exotic resort for her lavish hen party.

The actress, 29, who got engaged to boyfriend Joe Parker last April, looked over the moon as she celebrated with her closest friends and family.

Alexandra- who was best known for playing Emma Brooker in the ITV soap - shared a series of snaps from her hen do, including pictures of her wearing a white veil and carrying an "I do" clutch bag.

She posed up a storm in front of an outdoor swimming pool, showing off her trim physique in a pair of white high waisted trousers and a matching feather bandeau crop top.

Alexandra then turned around and showed fans the personalised writing on her veil, which read: "The future Mrs Parker."

The celebrations didn't stop there, the bridal party were in high spirits as they partied into the early hours.

Alexandra slipped into a stunning white halterneck dress, teamed with a pair of white strappy block heels and a rhinestone bridal tiara.

The actress then posed alongside her loved ones as she enjoyed the special getaway before becoming a new bride.

She penned alongside the post: "Mrs P to be! THE BEST weekend with THE BESTEST people!"

Her fans flocked to congratulate her ahead of her big day.

One wrote: "Congratulations, I wish you both a long and happy marriage. Can't wait to see photos of you in your dress."

Another posted: "Huge congratulations x you look fabulous...and your mum does too.";

"Looking amazing, looks like you had the best time. Now I’m excited to see the wedding pics," a third added.

The TV favourite was overjoyed when she shared her engagement news with fans last year.

She showed off her diamond ring and told fans their love was “locked down”.

Alongside a series of pictures of her beaming with joy, she wrote: “Love locked down!! 1000000 times yes! You make me so happy, my face hurts! Love you ridiculously. Future Mrs Parker.”

Joe also shared a series of snaps, telling his followers:  “Went in to lockdown with a girlfriend, came out with a fiancée. What a lucky man I am. Can't wait to marry you Alexandra Mardell. I love you.”

Alexandra and Joe met while they were students but only became a couple two years after they graduated.

They moved in together in January 2020 and have kept each other entertained throughout the various lockdowns.

The actress previously gushed about her partner when they moved in together: "GSA Grad Ball 2015 - we were just friends, two years later we were a couple, now two years together, he’s moving in!

"So many exciting events and adventures already and still so many more to come!

"Joe we have such a laugh! Love you massively! So excited for all the laughs, date nights, lazy days, long walks and chicken wings we want!"

Alexandra first appeared in Corrie in April 2018, and left the soap in 2022.
