Lorraine Kelly hits back at troll after vicious swipe about her ‘awful’ hair on ITV show
LORRAINE Kelly has hit back at a troll after a vicious swipe about her 'awful' hair on her ITV show.
The 63-year-old is on our screens every weekday with her self titled show, and receives plenty of comments online about her outfits, topics of discussion and celebrity guests.
This morning however, one troll decided to take aim at Lorraine's hair, which is currently collarbone length and with a fringe.
They wrote: "I really think Lorraine needs a makeover hair is awful I’m surprised no one has mentioned this time for a short cut Lorraine."
However, Lorraine wasn't afraid to hit back, and replied: "Well good morning - only problem - when I have short hair I look like Wilson from “Castaway “ (if you know you know)."
While Lorraine had shorter hairstyles early in her TV career, in recent years she has favoured a longer length and fringe combo.

Thankfully, Lorraine received plenty of support from her fans, with one writing: "I think you look great @reallorraine."
Another added: "I don't think you should bother responding, Lorraine. You look fab btw, but I'm so sick of women being reduced to judgement on their appearance and not their skills and general awesomeness."
A third tweeted: "Why are some people so rude and judgemental what does anyone get out of making nasty, hurtful remarks, I just don’t get it! You look fabulous Lorraine. X."
Last week, Lorraine was forced to pull out of her popular show due to illness.
Bosses scrambled to bring in newsreader and Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh at short notice to fill the gap and keep the show on air.
GMB host Kate Garraway informed viewers of the line-up change and praised Ranvir for rushing in to save the day.
She said: "I think in almost a first in her 30 year plus history on breakfast TV she's gone home. She's not well. She's got a bug. We're wishing you very well, Lorraine.
"Ranvir is to the rescue though. She's on her way in to get herself ready for the show."
She added: "It's a good job Ranvir didn't say no to coming in and got herself out of bed, otherwise we wouldn't have a show."
Lorraine airs weekdays from 9am on ITV1.
