I’m a former Love Island star and now I work at a desk job – I went back weeks after villa axe
LOVE Island star Jay Younger has revealed that he went back to his desk job weeks after being axed from the ITV2 show.
The investment analyst, 30, shot to fame in the eighth series of Love Island last year.
Jay entered the villa on day nine as a bombshell and his good looks caught the eye of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.
However they didn't last long as he later went on to couple up with Paige Thorne, Danica Taylor and Chyna Mills.
On day 35 Jay and Casa Amor girl Chyna were dumped from the Island and later returned to the UK.
Days later he returned to his old job and explained how his life had changed.

Speaking to about his stint after Love Island, Jay said: "I was so grateful that work allowed me to take time off.
"It was two months in the summer where I wasn’t going to be working, so I took two months unpaid annual leave and then coming back to the office and everyone naturally had so many questions.
"The first two weeks were a bit surreal but now it’s like it never happened.
"It’s so mad how life can just go back to how it was. I don’t think the influencer life would be for me anyway.

"I had a private Instagram before getting scouted for Love Island.
"I only had like 900 followers and I’m grateful for all the followers now, but it doesn’t define or measure my success."
Earlier this year Jay's co-star Tasha Ghouri slammed a podcast featuring her former villa co-stars Jay and Charlie Radnedge.
Several couples from the most recent summer series were savagely mocked in a recent episode.
Charlie, who hosts with ex Made In Chelsea cast member Miles Nazaire, was talking about who is still together from the series.
He said: "There are a few couples that are still going strong, like Tasha and Andrew Le Page and Ekin-Su and Davide Sanclimenti."
At that point they all started giggling - with Miles saying sarcastically: "Yeah they're strong man, real strong."
The three of them then collapsed in fits of laughter.
Charlie asked: "Dami and Indiyah are definitely still together, aren't they?"
Tasha tweeted after the broadcast: "Some people really don’t have anything else to talk about.
"Find it mad how youse keep using our names for views on your channel, it’s getting boring honestly X."
