ONE B&B owner on Four in a Bed was left with his head in his hands after being dealt a crushing blow from his guests despite positive feedback.

The holiday makers had checked in to Craig and Rachel's The Llawnroc Hotel in Cornwall for the night on the Channel 4 contest.

Craig described their Cornish offering as a "luxury boutique hotel" that came with a £270-a-night price tag.

While the guests were excited at the prospect of luxurious stay, it was Craig's ability to host that took them most by surprise as they were left full of compliments for the host with the most.

Craig led the gang in a karaoke session to raise spirits and in a bid to score points.

The guests were pleased to have enjoyed a decent night's sleep but admitted that out of date furniture was slightly off putting as they cried out for a slight revamp to bring the hotel to a modern feel, arguing it was lacking that little bit of luxury that was initially promised.

They were also left feeling a bit short changed at the price of the property.

However, despite reaction being quite positive on the whole, Craig and Rachel fell at the final hurdle when all three couples insisted they would never stay their again, leaving Craig crushed.

As they read the anonymous feedback forms, Craig was left stunned when each of his guests all decided that they would not wish to return.

One couple flagged that there was some mould on the windows, to which Craig admiringly said: "That is unacceptable and I'm going to have to address this."

With only one or two negative points being made, Craig was assured they would be back as he affirmatively declared: "I'm definite that they're going to say, 'yes, they would come back.'"

Seeing 'no' circled on the page left Craig aghast as he said: "I'm disappointed really with that - with the way that we've been marked there, I'm very surprised."

The no's continued to flow despite average reviews.

In the second feedback form, the guests were left less than impressed with the price of the room but scored Craig and Rachel highly elsewhere leading to another shock when no was circled on the page.

Heading into the final form, the hosts said: "It would be nice to have one that says they're coming back..."

However it was not meant to be as the final holidaymaker insisted it would not be a place for them to return to in the future.

Devestated by the result, Craig sat heartbroken with his head in his hands as he remarked: "That's three nos.

"So, I've got to say that I'm really disappointed - I don't really know why they don't want to come back."

It comes after the previous episode saw guests delivering the hosts a perfect 10 out of 10 for breakfast despite them attending a local cafe.

As a result of the accommodation being self-catering, the guests were forced to seek breakfast elsewhere with the hosts offering to take them to a nearby café in order to have a professionally cooked meal.

However, fans were quick to call out the hypocrisy as the guests were still able to score the breakfast they had off-site allowing the hosts to score a perfect score of ten.

Fuming fans felt as thought the breakfast score should have been disregarded or axed as a result of the hosts having had no involvement in the process.

Four in a Bed airs weeknights on Channel 4 at 5pm.
