Viewers have questioned where the ‘meet the family’ part is

But viewers of the hit ITV2 show have questioned where the ‘meet the family’ episode.

The famous segment usually sees two family members or friends of the remaining Islanders come to see their son or daughter and meet the person they’ve coupled up with.

But with just days to go until the Love Island final, fans have questioned why it hasn’t happened this time around.

Viewers often love the meet the families part, as it has seen some parents give their child’s new partner a total grilling.

One person wrote: “Does this mean there’s no family episode this year????” and another added: “Is there no family episode this year?! I want a Dami and Indiyah moment.”

A third penned: “So we’re not getting a family episode this year then? That’s disappointing.”

And a fourth commented: “We need a family episode! When is that going to happen?”

The Sun has approached ITV for comment.
