Love Island viewers accuse finalist of being a ‘walking red flag’ after ‘worrying’ comment during final

LOVE Island viewers have accused one finalist of being a "walking red flag" after a "worrying" comment during the live final.

Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins became the runners up on the long-running ITV2 competition in last night's live final.

However, fans are already doubting their compatibility after the 25-year-old financial adviser made a comment during the couple's interview.

Host, Maya Jama, 28, asked the couple if he planned to move up north to be with his new girlfriend.

To which Ron replied: "Not yet, we'll have our own bases, we've spoken about it."

Lana, 25, interjected: "We're gonna spend a lot of time together, aren't we?"

Ron then exclaimed: "I want to miss her for a bit. I want to miss her."

The Love Island presenter was left shaking her head as fans of the hit dating show took to Twitter in their droves to express concern over their future.

One fan wrote: ";Ron openly saying on camera that he wanted to spend time away from Lana now the show was over. All the alarm bells 🔔 All the red flags 🚩."

A second said" "Ron said he wants to ”miss lana for a bit” RED FLAG ALERT."

Whilst a third commented: "Ron saying he needs his time away from Lana after the show is such a red flag."

Meanwhile a fourth noted: "Ron and Lana won't last a month outside, he's a walking red flag."

Another viewer said: "First Ron tells Lana that he will take her number and now he says he wants to miss her for a bit? I’m sorry but this man is a walking red flag."

And a sixth wrote: "The way Ron is going to scatter Lana’s heart after this show😭😭😭he just says things that raises such red flags."

Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan rose to victory as they were crowned the winners of the ninth series of Love Island last night.

The smitten couple were shell-shocked by the result that saw them beat out Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins to the £50,000 prize.
