The Love Island presenter, 28, donned a sequinned mini-dress, featuring a crab, in Sunday's episode in Cape Town, South Africa.

She had earlier announced Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan winners of winter Love Island which is held in South Africa.

The couple, both 24, embraced and kissed after host Maya revealed the result of the public vote.

It meant they had won the £50,000 prize.

Tearful Sanam said: "I can't believe it!"

Kai and Sanam, both 24, managed to beat competitive rivals Tom Clare & Samie Elishi and Lana Jenkins, 25, & Ron Hall, 26, and Shaq Muhammad, 24, & Tanya Manhenga, 22, to win the £50,000 prize.

Ron and Lana were runners-up, with Tom and Samie third.

Shaq and Tanya were fourth.

Kai and Sanam had been together for the least amount of time but were given the seal of approval by their families, who visited them in Sunday's episode ITV2 show.

The winners had joined the other three remaining pairs in a dance lesson from professionals, ahead of the Love Island ball.

Asked about his first impressions of Sanam, Kai told Maya: "She blew me away straight away."
