Gogglebox star Ellie Warner cradles baby bump in Mother’s Day snap as pregnant star beams with her mum and sister
GOGGLEBOX star Ellie Warner has cradled her baby bump in a Mother’s Day snap.
The expectant mum, 32, is set to give birth to her first baby with her boyfriend Nat Eddleston.
And earlier this month, the Gogglebox favourite confirmed they are having a little boy.
It was the first time Ellie had revealed the gender of her baby since announcing her pregnancy on the show in December.
In a sweet post on Mother’s Day the expectant mum cradled her bump while in a pink dress.
The star stood next to her mum and Gogglebox co-star and sister Izzi, who opted for green.
Ellie beamed as she put her arm around her mum who wore a vibrant yellow blouse, in front of a balloon arch.
She wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day. Hope everyone has a lovely day whatever you’re doing.”
Ellie has admitted that she has gestational diabetes and made the confession during an episode of Gogglebox.
As the girls settled down to watch BBC programme The Apprentice, she said: “Alan Sugar is my only sugar fix now I have got gestational diabetes.”
The states that gestational diabetes is high blood sugar (glucose) that develops during pregnancy.
It can happen at any stage of pregnancy, but is more common in the second or third trimester, and usually disappears after birth.
Symptoms can include an increased thirst, blurred eyesight and the urge to urinate more than usual.
The condition is taken very seriously, as it can lead to premature birth, pre-eclampsia and jaundice in newborns.
Pregnant women with gestational diabetes can help by changing their diet and exercising gently. They are also monitored more closely and can take medication to lower bloody sugar levels if necessary.
