BBC Breakfast viewers beg Naga Munchetty to quit smoking as she posts picture of her going on her first run of 2023
BBC Breakfast fans are begging presenter Naga Munchetty to quit smoking after she posted a picture of herself following her first run of the year.
The 48 year old news presenter took to social media to proudly announce that she "did it" in reference to completing her first run of the year - but fans were more concerned about her poor health choices.
Naga posted a picture of herself wearing ear pods as she made her way back home after her jog. And she captioned the post saying: "Didn't want to. Did it. It's done. #run. Happy Friday."
But one fan said: "Please give up the cigarettes."
Another added: "I'm curious (not judging you) how many cigarettes do you smoke a day?"
And a third jumped on the bandwagon to say: "Disappointing to find out you are a smoker."

But this is not the first time Naga has been scolded by viewers. Earlier this month Comic Relief fans predicted that Ofcom would be inundated with complaints after the newsreader swore on air.
Unfortunately for Naga, she was asked to read out a joke that appeared to have a swear word in it - 45 minutes before the 9pm watershed.
She told her co-star Charlie Stayt: "I went to the zoo the other day, there was only one dog in it. It was a Shih Tzu."
Charlie laughed at the apparent mis-hap, but Naga didn't appear to notice that her joke sounded exactly like she was saying: "It was a s*** zoo."
And as predicted, fans took to Twitter to raise their eyebrows. One said: "Oop a kind of swear word before 9pm, Ofcom is gonna have a field day with complaints lmao."
