Phillip Schofield missing from This Morning for second day running as Alison Hammond replaces him
PHILLIP Schofield will not return to This Morning for a second day running after being replaced by Alison Hammond.
The presenter is missing from the daytime show while his brother stands trial accused of carrying out a sex act with a teenage boy.
Phillip is currently off-screen as Timothy Schofield, 54, appeared in the dock at Exeter Crown Court yesterday charged with 11 counts of sexual offences with a child which started when the victim was just a teenager.
Alison joined his usual co-host Holly Willoughby yesterday to host the show.
The 48-year-old confirmed she was stepping in for Monday's This Morning with a throwback clip of her and Holly, 42, posted on Instagram.
She previously revealed the change up during Friday's show, which she co-hosts with Dermot O'Leary.
