Naga Munchetty pays tribute to BBC co-star as he leaves breakfast show after five years
NAGA Munchetty has paid tribute to a BBC co-star as he leaves the breakfast show after five years.
Naga, 47, presents BBC Breakfast every Thursday to Saturday alongside Charlie Stayt.
When she isn't on the famous red sofa, she also presents a show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
On Friday, she replied to a tweet from colleague Chris Latchem, who presents the sport on the station.
Alongside a screenshot of a farewell speech, Chris wrote: "Right guys, that's me. Thanks for having me on @bbc5live."
Naga replied: "Enjoy the lie-ins! You'll be missed my friend x."

In his farewell message, Chris wrote: "Thank you 5 Live. Today is my last day with BBC 5 Live. I've been part of the family for a decade, worked on every show and I've loved every minute.
"Media City has been a brilliant place to work with a truly outstanding cast. The station is in safe hands.
"5 Live took me all around the world and trusted me with some of the biggest news and sports stories around. But after 5 years on Breakfast (with two kids) I can no longer answer the 4am alarm.
"I've got some really exciting news to come, but that can wait for now.
"Big shout out to all of our brilliant listeners for being so engaged and warm towards me. This was genuinely my dream job and I'm proud to have carried the flag.
"Thanks for having me on the radio. Latch."
