CAROL Kirkwood swiped at BBC Breakfast co-star Charlie Stayt for 'cutting into her time' - as Naga Munchetty winced.
Carol, 60, was on hand to give weather updates throughout today's BBC Breakfast, while Charlie and Naga were in the studio covering the latest news and topics.
After one of her first updates of the day, Carol said: "I'll bring you the rest of the Easter Weekend forecast in about half an hour, but Naga and Charlie, back to you.”
Charlie, 60, cheekily replied: "Alright, we’ll see you in half an hour then. I'll set the clocks now, half an hour."
Naga, 47, quickly told him: "She wasn’t threatening you, you know, she was just informing you.”
But Charlie continued: "We’ve come to you for weather information. If you’ve got something to tell us, just tell us.”

However, Carol gave as good as she got and told him: "I have a finite amount of time, Charlie, to bring you weather but it will be a longer one in the next half hour – depending on how long you speak, of course.
“If you overrun that cuts my time, so can you keep it brief please?”
Her comment prompted Naga to sharply exhale and look to the side, her eyes wide.
Meanwhile Charlie responded: "Usually that’s the director who’s saying that but it Carol today, are we just ganging up?”

Naga replied dryly: "You don’t listen to her either.”
Half an hour later, the earlier exchange hadn't been forgotten, as Charlie introduced Carol's "special extended edition".
BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
