Now baby Aida has arrived bang on time to see her mum's big moment - three months on from that audition at the London Palladium.

Amy Lou told The Sun: “My beautiful BGT baby, what a surreal thing to say!

“The fact she’s already been on stage in front of Simon and the other judges is crazy.

“She will be able to tell her friends when she’s older that she met Simon Cowell when she was in my tummy!

“I cannot believe that all the stars are aligning and that I get to share this moment with my baby girl and family.”

Amy Lou, from Tipton, West Mids, is already mum to Hudson, four, and signed up to audition for the ITV show to try and make a better life for her family.

She was induced with Aida, but had no idea her performance at 30 weeks pregnant would be included in the first show of the new series.

It made the newborn an instant celebrity on the ward when she arrived at 15:59 on May 15, weighing  5lbs 14 ounces.

Amy Lou said: “She was an absolute celebrity in the hospital.

“All the nurses were showering her in so much A-list treatment.

“I haven’t stopped smiling - well perhaps not through the actual birth - but dreams really do come true.

“All I’ve ever wanted to do is give my children the best life possible”

“I’m so happy that Aida has arrived safe and well. We are complete as a family, and our perfect girl has provided so much joy to us all.

“We had no idea that my audition would be on air the day she would be born, so it feels like perfect timing.”

Amy Lou received a standing ovation following her performance of Beyonce's song Listen from Dreamgirls.

Judge Alesha Dixon said: “That was by far my favourite audition so far!”

Amanda Holden added: “The moment you started singing I was covered in goosebumps. I was thinking your baby is probably having a lovely little sleep in there and the she’s gone ‘oh, here we go!’. You are a star.”

Bruno Tonioli commented: “The measure of a true artist is to take a song by Beyoncé but make it completely your own. The interpretation was on another level. you really are a revelation.”

And Simon concluded: “That just doesn’t happen. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone so connected to an audience in all my years of doing this. Whatever happens next is going to be amazing. Really, you deserve this.”
