EastEnders’ dying Lola Pearce goes on heart-breaking final trip with Jay Brown
DIAGNOSED with a terminal brain tumour, Lola Pearce only has a handful of months to live.
But Lola is trying to live the rest of her life to the fullest as she embarks on a final trip away with her husband Jay Brown.
Upcoming EastEnders scenes will see Lola and Jay enjoy a trip to the beach.
The character played by departing actress Danielle Harold has limited time with her nearest and dearest.
As BBC One viewers know, Lola was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour and no treatment is available to her.
But before she breathes her last, the young woman is adamant on making the most of the little time she has left.

Despite the sad circumstances, Lola and Jay are all smiles as they spend time together enjoying the beach, sea and ice cream.
Not letting the cold weather dampen their mood, the loved-up pair are wrapped up warm in the padded coats and each other's arms.
Even though Lola feels weak, Jay has a wheelchair to help her travel across the beach.
It will be a wholesome yet emotional episode as it will be the couple's last opportunity to spend time together before she dies.
