The youngster, who is played by Paddy Bever, was sentenced in February and hasn't been seen since.

ITV viewers previously watched as Max was turning to crime while being groomed by vile racist Griff Reynolds.

He was sent down after being found guilty of Encouragement of Terrorism for posting hateful propaganda videos online which led to an attack at Speed Daal.

And now it seems Max has turned a new leaf as his on screen dad Jack P Shepherd, who plays David Platt, teases his return.

Appearing on ITV's This Morning, the actor told Phillip Schofield he's back soon.

“He comes out of prison, yes, he’s served his time," he said.

Jack confessed not everyone on the street is happy that Max will be released from prison.

He continued: “He’s worried about coming back to the street and thinking everybody’s going to hate him and David’s like, ‘No one’s going to hate you’.

"Then he comes back and everybody hates him so he’s like, ‘I told ya!’"

Coronation Street continues on ITV1 and ITVX.
