Towie star Lydia Bright shares plans to adopt after ‘really tough’ pregnancy without dad of baby

TOWIE star Lydia Bright has revealed she hasn’t ruled out adopting or fostering in a bid to expand her family.

The 32-year-old opened up about life as a single mum to daughter Loretta, three, who she shares with ex Lee Cronin.

Speaking to Kate Ferdinand on her Blended podcast, she explained: “I want to have more of my own children. But I always say like, if I didn't meet someone, or it didn't happen for me naturally, then I wouldn't rule out adopting or fostering.

“It's something that I would think about again in the future, but at the moment, it's not something really. My mum became a foster carer when she was in her 30s, when she'd had me and Georgia.

“And I think it would be something that maybe I’d consider if it was the right situation, or the right circumstances.”

Lydia split from Lee when she was just 11 weeks pregnant and admitted she struggled going through that on her own.

She told Kate: “I think the hardest thing was definitely doing the pregnancy alone. I think that that was really, really tough.

“I feel like when Loretta came I felt like she was […] I felt like she was the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, I feel like it was a very, very emotional time when I was pregnant because I was scared.”

She now has a “great relationship” with Lee, who was in the delivery room when their daughter was born.

The former Towie star said: “Me and her dad have a great relationship now, we have had our ups and downs but we get on fine.
