ITV Emmerdale boss rules out major Caleb Milligan theory as she teases new secrets
CALEB Milligan's true identity was revealed and viewers have been keen to know more about him - and his wife.
However, they may be disappointed to learn that Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has ruled out one major theory.
Despite cavorting with Take A Vow wedding planner Leyla Harding in recent scenes of the ITV drama, Caleb Milligan (played by Will Ash) is said to be married.
This became clear to soap viewers when Caleb's real identity was revealed, along with his son's, Nicky.
The latter, portrayed by Lewis Cope, demanded to know how Caleb could even think of another woman when his wife was still, somewhat, in the picture.
Fans of the Yorkshire-based-program have had a meltdown as they try to figure out who Caleb's wife and Nicky's mother could be.
More Emmerdale
Many believe she could soon appear in the Dales, while others suspect she may have already settled there to help her estranged husband and son with their plan.
However, Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson has squashed all hopes of meeting Mrs Milligan in the near future.
Speaking to The Sun and other press, the producer said there are currently "no plans" to introduce viewers to Caleb's bride.
But there's still hope things could change in the long-run.

"We haven’t planned that yet. It doesn’t mean it won’t happen but that’s not on the cards."
In the meantime, soap fans will have to buckle up as the father-son duo take their plans to the next level and make more enemies.
According to Jane Hudson, Nicky is keeping another secret - and Caleb may not even be aware of it.
