Phillip Schofield breaks silence after This Morning axe rumours
PHILLIP Schofield enjoyed a drink with his daughter Molly on Saturday night after reports he could be axed from This Morning.
The TV star took to social media and put on a brave face after it was claimed This Morning had been left in chaos following his time off before Easter.
The presenter, 61, broke his social media silence by sharing photos with his daughter and the pair looked in good spirits, sipping glasses of red wine.
He posted two photos with Molly, one of which saw them bursting into giggles.
The star wrote over the top: "Bloopers."
Phil's recent absence has led to claims he could be leaving the show, after his co-host Holly Willoughby teamed up with Alison Hammond to present This Morning.

Bosses were so taken by Alison and Holly on screen that they have held talks over Phil's future on the show, according to a report in .
A source said: "It has put an idea into the heads of ITV chiefs – to bring a bit of 'girl power' to the show.
"It's a case of both things colliding. Fans say they are over Phil and they love Alison."
Leading bookmaker Coral has also slashed the odds to 4-5 (from 3-1) on Alison being named as a main This Morning presenter across the full week in 2023.

“With doubts about the future of Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, we have slashed the odds on Alison Hammond being named as a presenter for the full five days of This Morning,” said Coral’s John Hill.
"Hammond's stock continues to rise and we make her the odds-on favourite to be a permanent presenter of the morning show," added Hill.
Phil was back on air last week for the first time since his brother's child sex abuse conviction.
He told viewers as he returned to the sofa: "I'd just like to say, it is really lovely to be back. I have missed the show and everyone here and also to you.
"I wanted to say thank you for your kind messages and support which were really appreciated. Thank you very much indeed. On with the show... Shall we?"
The presenter took a break during the case, which saw Timothy convicted of 11 sexual offences involving a child over three years from October 2016, including two of sexual activity.
