Peter Andre reveals huge new TV gig saying ‘I jumped at the chance’
PETER Andre has opened up about his huge new TV job on Cooking With The Stars.
The TV star turned 50 years old last month and recently celebrated three decades in showbiz.
Peter said: "As part of my 30 years in showbiz celebrations, I wanted to learn a new skill so jumped at the chance to do ITV's Cooking With The Stars.
"The fact you get to work with professional chefs and learn new dishes made it very appetising. Excuse the pun!
"My lifestyle book, It’s Fine, will be out in June so ties in nicely as it’ll include recipes."
Emma Willis and Tom Allen will return as presenters for the prime time competition, which will welcome eight celebrities into the kitchen.

And the Mysterious Girl singer will be strapping on his apron and trying his luck alongside some big names.
"One of the shows contestants is Chris Eubank, who I’ve known for years," he added.
"He’s had an emotional time on Scared Of The Dark, talking about his son Sebastian, who died of a heart attack in 2021, aged 29. I really feel for him. He’s a really nice guy."
Also in the mix is Busted's Matt Willis, Gavin and Stacey actress Joanna Page, Coronation Street actress Samia Longchambon, and Love Island's Indiyah Polack.
But Peter is perhaps the most experienced when it comes to reality TV, having fallen for ex wife Katie Price on I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! back in 2004.
While the pair went on to star in a string of ITV2 series following their relationship, after their break-up, Peter competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015.
