CORONATION Street star Simon Gregson has hit out at soap fans after ‘secret hair transplant’ claims.
The Steve McDonald actor, 48, shared a snap of himself in a white North Face cap while standing in a field.
He could be seen with a deadpan look as he snapped a selfie and sported a grey jumper.
Denying he’s had a hair transplant, the Corrie star penned: “To those who think I’ve had a hair transplant coz I’m in a hat I’m also in a hoodie with no boob job. People are strange.”
Simon had his fans and co-stars in hysterics with his comment, as Ryan Thomas posted a laughing emoji.
And Alan Halsall quipped: “What’s wrong with a hair transplant ?? Asking for a friend.”

“You had your teeth done, because your mouth is closed?” another joked, and a fourth said: “Better not wear your sunglasses in case people think you had new eyes implanted.”
Simon’s photo comes after fans claimed he’d had a hair transplant after he was spotted wearing a hat on screen.
After wearing the clothing item, one person wrote: “#Corrie what's with Steve in a cap all episode, has he had a hair transplant?"
Another said: “Steve on a hair transplant then hope it's better than David's #corrie."

It all started when Steve, played by Simon Gregson, was seen talking with his wife Tracy, played by .
The couple chatted with daughter Amy (Elle Mulvaney) as she got ready for pal Nina Lucas' birthday party, telling her it was ages since they had seen her "glammed up".
In a heart-to-heart they told Amy they were proud of her after her rape ordeal with Aaron Sandford (James Craven).
But despite the heartwarming nature of the chat, some viewers were distracted by something else – Steve’s baseball cap.
