Alison Hammond lifts lid on filming Coronation Street special
ALISON HAMMOND and Dermot O’Leary will be celebrating the Coronation by getting stuck into a Lancashire hotpot.
The hosts are filming a special episode of This Morning from the famous Coronation Street cobbles on ITV1 today.
Viewers will be treated to a first look at the Household Cavalry coming together to rehearse ahead of the ceremony this weekend.
Alison says: “I cannot wait to be back visiting the Cobbles.
“I always have such a great time with the Coronation Street team, and to be there with our This Morning crew this time for such a special occasion will be epic and so much fun.”
Dermot adds: “I cannot think of a more iconic way to spend a Friday hosting with Alison and delivering a show like this ahead of the King’s Coronation.

“We will definitely be bringing the party to Manchester that day.”
The show starts at 10am, which is never too early for a hotpot at the Rovers.
Alison had teased the special show in April after dropping clues throughout the ITV daytime show about her secret location.
The presenter finally revealed she was on the set of Coronation Street.
