Joe - who starred in Strictly four years ago with now-partner Dianne Buswell - could have banked £201,000.

In a 2023 The Chase episode re-aired last night, it captured the social media star's round against Chaser Paul Sinha.

TV personality Joe managed to secure a £201,000, which he added to the amounts won by pro footballer David James and I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star Myles Stephenson.

The team was also joined by journalist and news anchor Lucrezia Millarini.

Paul ultimately caught up to the team's score of 18 in the final chase but there was a chance for him to be pushed back.

The clock was stopped when Paul couldn't answer who played a character in the comedy movie Stepbrothers.

Joe and his celebrity team-mates almost snatched the point though, when they answered Will Ferrell - but mispronounced his name as Will Farrell.

Unfortunately, presenter Bradley Walsh said he was unable to accept the answer Will Farrell.

Because of this, the celebs lost the record £213,000, but were awarded £1,000 each for their chosen charities.

Previously, The Chase viewers took to social media to hit out at Bradley Walsh after his decision.

Fans of the show weren't pleased with the result, with one writing: "That Will Ferrell & Will Farrall situation was absolutely ridiculous, pretty obvious who he was saying?"

A second stated: "That Will Ferrell answer is so harsh how can you not accept that."

Another exclaimed: "Oh p*** off the chaser. Thought they were going to win that £213,000. They were fab. If only they'd said Ferrell instead of Farrell."

"Why was Brad so excited to say it’s Ferrell not Farrell?" criticised another.

A fifth questioned: "Wonder if the chasers ever feel remorse about taking that amount of money away from charities?"

"Yes, the mispronunciation of Ferrell was harsh, but thems the breaks, I'm afraid." chimed in a sixth.
