This Morning bosses REFUSE to confirm if Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be on Monday’s show
THIS Morning bosses have refused to confirm whether Monday's show will go ahead as normal with Phillip Schofield and Holly WIlloughby presenting together.
Phil and Holly usually front the show from Monday to Thursday, but ITV are keeping tight-lipped about whether they will both be on the sofa next week amid reports of 'crisis talks' behind the scenes.
The pair - who are said to have grown distant in recent months amid a 'fallout' - were last seen together on Thursday morning's show, where a body language expert claimed they looked "painfully uncomfortable" next to each other.
At one point they even engaged in a dance to Lulu's hit Boom Bang A Bang, which many viewers labelled as 'awkward' on social media.
That was before Phillip issued a surprise statement to The Sun on Thursday night, admitting "things haven't been easy" amid rumours of a rift between him and Holly.
Holly is said to have been 'blindsided' by the statement and felt 'betrayed' and 'deeply upset'.

While Holly and Phil would typically be back on screen together on Monday, that ITV bosses have refused to confirm whether the show will take place 'as normal' on May 15.
The Sun has also contacted a spokesperson for ITV to ask if Holly and Phil will be on Monday's show as scheduled.
It comes as Phil confronted Holly in a 'tense call' as their rift was made public by The Sun earlier this week.
Phil fears he could be axed by from the ITV daytime show over their widening feud.
