Rachel Stevens’ Dancing on Ice lover had child with show exec as ‘his future with ITV is in doubt’

SINGER Rachel Stevens’ new Dancing on Ice lover became a dad just four months before his relationship with the S Club star was revealed.

Brendyn Hatfield, 37, fathered the child during a relationship with a TV executive connected with the ITV1 family show.

The US hunk — Rachel’s partner on last year’s series — had split from his fellow pro skater wife Jessica.

The baby boy was born in late December last year and he is named as the father on the birth certificate.

But The Sun on Sunday last month revealed that Rachel was dating him after her own marriage split last year.

And sources said ITV bosses are concerned about the controversy surrounding the pair’s relationship.

One said: “Bosses remind skaters of their responsibilities before each series.

“There will be long, hard discussions before Brendyn is confirmed for another series. His future is in the air.”

Rachel, 45, and Brendyn were pictured together last week amid suggestions he has moved into her £2million North London home.

The Heart FM radio presenter, first met him in November 2021 when they began training for Dancing on Ice.

They soon forged a friendship as they competed in January 2022 — becoming the third pair to be eliminated.

A few months later — and just one month before her 13th wedding anniversary — she revealed her break-up from property developer Alex Bourne, with whom she has two daughters.

Rachel was previously asked if she had enjoyed her time on last year’s series, and said: “I met incredible people. I still see Brendyn.”

She will tour with S Club later this year after the group decided to reunite.

Rachel, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Hannah Spearritt formed as S Club 7 in 1998 and had a string of huge hits between 1999 and 2003, including Reach and Never Had a Dream Come True.

They have vowed to press ahead with the concerts despite the sudden death of Paul, 46, at home last month.

Agents for Rachel, ITV, Dancing on Ice, Brendyn, and his TV producer ex-lover were all given the opportunity to comment.
