Chilling real-time footage of police manhunt for Olivia Pratt-Korbel’s killer Thomas Cashman to air in new Channel 4 doc
CHILLING real-time footage of the police hunt for Olivia Pratt-Korbel's killer is set to be aired in a new documentary about the case.
Thomas Cashman, 34, was found guilty of nine-year-old Olivia's murder last month after shooting her in her home in Liverpool in August 2022 as he tried to kill another man.
The programme will follow Merseyside Major Crime Unit as it investigates several high-profile gun murders in the area.
A source told : "Channel 4 were filming with Merseyside Police last year when Olivia was killed on her doorstep and they had full access during their hunt for Cashman.
"It’s all very raw and will make for heartbreaking viewing."

The month-long search for Cashman saw a record-breaking £200,000 reward offered for information leading to his arrest.
He was chasing Joseph Nee, also a convicted drug dealer and the intended target of the murder.
Nee forced his way into Olivia's home and Cashman fired several shots into the property, killing the little girl and seriously injuring her mother, Cheryl.
Cheryl has since moved out of the house as she could not stand the memory of the murder.
The evil gunman was jailed for life with a minimum 42-year term, which he is attempting to have reduced on appeal.
A Channel 4 spokesperson said: "LA Productions/Channel 4 have been filming with Merseyside Police since 2021 for an observational documentary series that will feature a range of cases.
"We’re not in a position to talk about any specific cases as they are ongoing and some are not resolved."
