SAS: Who Dares Wins’ Ant Middleton bags first acting role after sensational sacking from Channel 4 show

FORMER SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton has landed a thrilling new role.

Ant, who held the role of Chief Instructor on the Channel 4 series has bagged his first role since departing SAS: Who Dares Wins.

The action-thriller is due to start production in July

The star, 42, will be starring in a brand new action-thriller due to start production in July.

Directed by , the film will follow Ant as he depicts the protagonist Rob Shaw, a hit-man, who travels to a remote location on request of his ex-wife.

He is met by his estranged father Jim, an ex-director of the Ministry of Defence, his ex-wife, her new husband and Rob’s two young daughters.

Jim explains that a global nuclear event is near and encourages Rob to join them in a nuclear bunker.

However, Rob rejects the invitation leaving him with no purpose or place to stay.

But when an anarchic gang of ex-soldiers take control of the bunker, Rob is left looking to save his family.

Ant, who is an ex-British Special Forces Operator and also a producer of the film has said of the new release: “Normally I’m doing the screaming and shouting but stepping into the acting world the tables have well and truly turned.

“With an awesome team at my side, there really are no excuses not to make ripples through the industry.”

gushed about the former SAS: Who Dares Wins star: “Bringing Ant Middleton in as the lead role in this project was huge.

“Film lovers talk a lot about the need for authenticity and escapism in film, well, I can tell you that all the action sequences you’ll see Ant doing on screen in Shelter he has done in reality.”

Ant was axed from the show after a series of high profile scandals, which included a tweet about the Black Lives Matter movement.

He received social media backlash in June 2020 after posting a video of violence at anti-racism protests in London.
