Who is Janet Marsh?

Janet Marsh is an English television actress who hails from Yorkshire.

She is best known for her work on Coronation Street, and has appeared on the soap THREE times.

Her other credits include roles in Where The Heart Is, Bodies, In The Dark, Love, Lies and Records, Still Open All Hours and the short film Cerulean.

The talented star is also known for her voice work, which includes CBBC.

Who did Janet Marsh play in Coronation Street?

Over the years, Janet has appeared on Coronation Street in three roles, all within the medical profession.

She first starred on the soap in 2005 as a nurse, she then followed this by playing a receptionist at the Scott-Roe Clinic in March 2008.

The last time Janet appeared on Corrie was in 2009 playing an ITU nurse.

Who is Janet's daughter Molly Marsh?

On May 18, 2023, The Sun revealed how Janet's daughter Molly Marsh is in final talks to appear on the summer Love Island 2023.

Like her mum, Molly is an actress and is known for her work in pantos.

She is also an influencer on Instagram, and has 27,000 followers (as of May 2023) on her popular handle .

Molly hit it off with telly bosses after she was invited to tour the winter Love Island villa in January 2023.

A source revealed: “Molly was scouted after visiting the villa in South Africa earlier this year.

“She was on the tour as an invited guest when she caught the eyes of producers.

“Molly made it clear she would love to be a part of Love Island and she was told to audition.

"After going through the process, she’s now a shoo-in to fly to Majorca later this month."

Before trying her luck on Love Island, Molly appeared in theatre productions across the UK, including roles in national tours of the musical Oliver! and the pantomime Sleeping Beauty.
