RYLAN Clark has announced he is taking a break from his BBC Radio 2 show - just hours after Phillip Schofield announced he had quit This Morning.
The presenter, 34, hosts his own programme each Saturday from 3pm until 6pm with the Beeb.
However, during today's show Rylan told his listeners he had an announcement to make.
Addressing the fans and his guests in the studio, he revealed he would be taking time away from the show.
He said: "This is where I should say ladies I won't be catching up with you next week.
"Because I am off to do some other bits and bobs so I'm not going to be here for a fair few weeks."

He added: "I just want to say whoever is looking after this seat for a fair few weeks can you please make sure you look after Couch Potatoes."
Rylan stopped short on revealing the exact reason for his departure but it comes just as Schofe announced he had quit This Morning.
Phillip, 61, took to his Instagram account to announce the news to his fans, with Holly, 42, releasing her own statement soon after.
Rylan has previously co-hosted This Morning before - including with Holly and is very much a member of the show's family.

Following his first few appearances on the ITV daytime show he became close with Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, who previously hosted on Fridays.
He refers to the married couple as his 'TV mum and dad'.
The Sun revealed that the rift forming between Holly and Phil - that has become apparent in recent weeks - began YEARS ago.
Three years ago, Holly went to war with her and Phil’s agent YMU Group when she chose to leave and start her own agency.
She ended up in a legal battle over their claim for 15 per cent of her future earnings.
Last year, Holly pocketed £1million in an out-of-court settlement with the agency — where Phil remains and is a shareholder.
The shake-up saw a power shift between the once unbreakable partnership, with Holly becoming a bigger star than Phil.
Following Phil's statement, fans are convinced they know exactly who will replace him on the show.
