Strictly Come Dancing star reveals he’s postponed wedding day after death of family member
FORMER Strictly Come Dancing star Greg Rutherford has revealed he has postponed his wedding day.
The retired British track and field athlete and MasterChef contestant took to social media to reveal devastating news.
Greg, 36, has been engaged to Susie Verrill, 33, since May 2019, whilst they also share three kids together.
But the media personality took to Instagram to reveal that he has been forced to postpone his wedding after they lost a close family member.
Posting a trio of photographs of his wife, Greg explained: "Today was meant to be our wedding day.
"Due to the loss of someone so close and important we postponed the big day - In typical fashion the UK weather is going to be perfect we’re a bit miffed.

"But we get to plan it all again and hopefully really put together exactly what we want.
He then paid tribute to his future wife as he added: "@susiejverrill I know today will be frustrating, but I love you so much and we’ll have an even better wedding when we finally manage to do it."
Susie in return replied to his post where she made light of their devestating circumstances.
She penned: "Thank god I started opting for longer nails because these hand photos are giving me male tradesman had a manicure."

The pair previously welcomed their third child in April of 2021.
While Greg didn't initially reveal his daughter's name, he later took to Instagram to reveal they have called her Daphne, as well as sharing the first pictures of their new addition.
Greg, who won Celebrity MasterChef in 2019, where he announced the duo were expecting their third child in December 2018.
At the time Susie admitted having a "long, tough road" so far in her third pregnancy as she struggled with Hyperemesis gravidarum - a serious condition which causes extreme morning sickness.
Susie and Greg have been together since 2012 and got engaged in May 2019.
Alongside two-year-old Daphne share two sons; eight-year-old Milo, and five-year-old Rex.
Greg is an Olympic champion who won long jump gold at London 2012, and also competed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
