Two Strictly Come Dancing pros and Loose Women legend sign up for star-studded reality TV series
STRICTLY pros Giovanni Pernice and Kai Widdrington have dazzled the nation with their nifty dancing, now they’ll need to hot-foot it all over the country.
The duo will compete on the next series of Celebrity Hunted, where famous faces have to go on the run and avoid a team of experts pursuing them.
But Giovanni and Kai didn’t sign up for the Channel 4 show blindly, they already had an insight from fellow Strictly pro, Katya Jones.
A TV insider said: “It was their mate Katya who convinced them to take part after she had such a great experience on Hunted when she was paired with Olympian Aimee Fuller.
“Not only did she love the challenge, she also liked the fact it was for such a good cause - raising awareness and funds for Channel 4’s Stand up to Cancer Appeal.
“Given the natural competitiveness between the dance pros, Giovanni and Kai will want to show they can do better than her in the competition.

“Katya and Aimee were the second couple to get caught on the show - so the boys just need to make sure they aren’t the first.”
Giovanni and Kai will also be joined on the line-up of the Channel 4 show next year by Loose Women star Denise Welch and her husband Lincoln Townley.
Which opens up the tantalising potential for her to video call her son, The 1975’s Matty Healy, and maybe catch a glimpse of his new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
That will set the bar for celebrities very high when they start to cast the following series....

Also appearing on the next series will be two former soap actresses.
Danielle Harold, who plays dying Lola Pearce in BBC soap EastEnders, will be taking on her first post-soap role on the programme.
She will be accompanied by former Corrie star Kimberley Hart-Simpson as they try to evade capture.
The latest series of the show ended with ZERO celebrities managing to make it all the way.
Last remaining contender Bobby Seagull, of University Challenge fame, was caught with just seconds remaining.
It came after he and partner, YouTube star Saffron Barker, chose to split just days before the final in a bid to have a better chance of making it all the way.
