Wendy Posner makes a decision about lover Liam Cavanagh in Emmerdale
LIAM Cavanagh found solace from all his recent troubles in story-writing - and a shocking affair with Wendy Posner.
However, the Emmerdale nurse makes a decision next week, unable to cope with the guilt of having cheated on Bob Hope.
The nurse played by Susan Cookson was left down in the dumps with the knowledge she's put her relationship with Bob in jeopardy by cavorting with Liam (portrayed by Jonny McPherson).
As ITV viewers will remember, the pair bonded when Wendy found out Liam was a published murder mystery author and she took it upon herself to help him with one of his stories.
Their connection escalated into a steamy surgery romp and Wendy has been clear with Liam that it could only be a moment's madness.
But when met with Liam's insistence once again next week, as he makes a last-ditch attempt to reunite their writing partnership, Wendy knows she only has one option left.

Fans of the Yorkshire-based drama have been left in disbelief after recent scenes of the soap were aired.

They then kissed and let passion overcome them, only to awake the following day, disorientated and recovering from a heavy hangover.
