EastEnders fans convinced Cindy Beale returns to murder Lucy’s killer Bobby

EASTENDERS fans have been left convinced that Cindy Beale has murder on her mind upon her return to Albert Sqaure.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Michelle Collins' character will return from the dead along with ex-husband Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) as part of a bombshell new plot to shake up EastEnders.

The two returning faces will have lots of explaining to do upon their return to Walford with Cindy believed to have died in child birth more than 20 years ago.

Fans have already begun to speculate on just what Cindy will get up to when she touches back down in the East End.

Many have theorised that she will seek revenge on Bobby Beale after he brutally killed her daughter Cindy as part of the soap's epic Who Killed Lucy Beale? plot.

Writing online, one fan suggested Bobby would need to protect himself from the wrath of Cindy as they wrote: "Bobby Beale best get that hockey stick out if Cindy returns."

Another guessed about her return: "And this might end up being more of a Bobby story if she's out for revenge for Lucy."

As a third said: "I just remembered Bobby killed Lucy and, unlike the other Beales, has no reason to love him. Oh, that house is going to be awkward as f***."

The Sun revealed how in upcoming scenes Ian and Cindy Beale will make their return to the soap in scenes showing them flogging dodgy baguettes in the South of France.

Viewers will see the pair trying to sell grub on a farmers’ market stall.

In scenes to air this summer, Ian and Cindy arrive in a Citroen van packed with sandwiches, with Ian using a translation app on his phone to speak French.

But the locals snub his lame catering, prompting Ian to remark how they would have all been snapped up back in Walford.

A TV insider said: “Bosses wanted to deliver a backstory which explains where they’ve both been all these years.”

Adam, 54, left the soap in 2021.

Michelle’s Cindy “died” off-screen 25 years ago during childbirth while in jail.

Our source said: “It’s not entirely clear how or when they got back together, or how they ended up in France — but they seem to be a couple again.

“It’s a clever and funny twist to have them continuing their catering work and working on stalls, just like they did on Albert Square.”
