CAROL Vorderman has weighed in on the future of This Morning after Phillip Schofield was axed.
The former Countdown star was asked about who will replace the star during an appearance on Have I Got News For You.
Carol, 62, said she'd put her money on Alison Hammond coming in and fronting the programme with Holly Willoughby.
Ian Hislop, whose team she was on this week, turned to her and said: "You're on it, aren't you?"
She replied: "Yes I do every Friday with Alison and the lovely Dermot."
Ian asked: "So are you going to take over? Is it going to be Holly and Carol?"

She replied: "No. Probably Holly and Alison I would have thought. That's where I'd put my money."
It has long been claimed that Holly has been lining up Alison - a former Big Brother contestant who was once This Morning's roving reporter - as presenter after Phillip.
Carol appeared on Have I Got News For You tonight alongside Ian, Paul Merton and Britain's Got Talent comedian Nabil Abdulrashid.
The presenter regularly appears on ITV's This Morning, and recently took part in I'm A Celebrity: South Africa.
