Britain’s Got Talent reveals Viggo Venn as the winner in dramatic final
VIGGO Venn has won Britain’s Got Talent in a shock final result.
The 2023 series saw 11 acts – including wild card Tonikaku – take to the stage to perform for the judges.
After they had all performed, Britain’s Got Talent viewers at home had chance to vote for their winner.
It was then hosts Ant and Dec’s job to reveal who hadn’t made it into the final three.
As the acts were revealed one by one, it eventually left Lilliana Clifton, Cillian O’Connor and Viggo.
The duo then revealed that magician Cillian had finished third.
They then confirmed that Norwegian clown Viggo had triumphed, however it seemed to received a mixed response from the show audience.
Viggo’s final performance had consisted of him dancing around the stage to Daft Punk hit One More Time in a hi-vis jacket, as well as climbing into a balloon that covered his whole body.
Ant asked a surprised Viggo how he felt about his win, and that he had “won the hearts of the nation”, and Viggo joked he had also won Simon’s heart.
At the start of the show, Ant and Dec had revealed that the judges; Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, had chosen Tonikaku as the wild card.
However, BGT viewers were not impressed by their choice, and took to Twitter to vent their frustrations.
Meanwhile, others were distracted by what they thought was the live audience booing Bruno, 67, as he spoke to Ant and Dec at the start of the show.
Thankfully, it was most likely the crowd chanting his name, rather than heckling him.
And those fans waiting to see what Amanda, 52, wore for the final were not disappointed.
The star looked sensational in a sparkling silver mini dress which featured a structured skirt and a strapless neckline.
