Gary Lineker reveals future of hit quiz show Sitting On A Fortune
GARY Lineker has hit the jackpot with his quiz Sitting on a Fortune - despite admitting he's a total dunce himself.
The pundit turned presenter now has two series as a gameshow host under his belt, with millions of fans tuning in.
But he confessed presiding over the ITV quiz, which airs on Sunday nights at 7pm, hasn’t helped his own skills.
Speaking exclusively, Gary said: “I’m terrible at games and quizzes.
“The answer is always on the tip of my tongue. I can never remember names!
“It’s a one-off for me to do this kind of show. I’d never thought about doing something like this before but I love doing it.
“It’s a lovely feeling changing someone’s life. Really often the contestants just want to help someone in their family, their mum or their children, with the money.”

Gary has been busy launching Walkers Sandwich Shops as part of his 29 year partnership with the snack brand.
But he’s looking to add to his workload further.
After a successful celebrity episode of Sitting On A Fortune last Christmas, Gary now reckons more star-studded editions could be on the cards.

He added: "I think it's a possibility for us to do a full series with celebrities.
"I think the cash has to go to charity… I don’t think the celebrities can get away with that one!
"I’m really pleased with how Sitting on a Fortune has been received. The figures have been good and the feedback’s been excellent.
"Hopefully we can just do lots of series and give lots of people lots of money.
“I really enjoy it because it’s a totally different skill to all the other things I've done.”
Gary chatted at the launch of Walkers Sandwich Shops, which has seen the crisps brand across the UK to show how adding snacks to a sandwich can up your lunchtime game.
The shops will be located in Brighton, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newcastle, Norwich and Reading, for a week from June 12.
