New Love Island bombshell Scott’s secret ITV star ex revealed as he’s set to cause chaos in the villa
NEW Love Island bombshell Scott van-der-Sluis has secretly dated a show legend.
The Welsh footballer will cause chaos when he enters the villa tonight and whisks one girl on a date - but he’s already had practise pulling an Island girl for a chat.
Scott, who plays in goal for Irish Premier Division club Shelbourne, dated Love Island season eight's Paige Thorne, 24, for a “couple of months” in 2020.
He’s originally from Connah’s Quay in north Wales, whilst Paige is from Swansea, but the pair met on the party circuit.
A source told The Sun: “It wasn’t serious with Paige and Scott but they had a great few months together.
“They met out on the party scene as Paige knows lots of footballers.

“It didn’t end for any reason in particular, just one of those things. They were both young and not looking for anything serious.”
Goalkeeper Scott, 22, confessed he has enjoyed the single life in his entry interview.
He said: “I’ve been single through my own choice, as well as circumstances. I’ve moved around a lot with football and I’ve been based in Dublin playing football for over a year.
“I’ve been single for 3 and a half years so it’s been a while so I’m ready and open to anything.

It comes as Scott was revealed to also be in touch with another former Islander - winter’s Anna-May Robey.
She posted a shot of Scott’s Love Island shoot to Instagram and wrote: "Secrets out!!! Hope all the pep talks were worth it. Rooting for you."
It comes after The Sun exclusively had been tipped to enter the villa.
An insider previously told The Sun: “Scott is confident and funny and he’ll be a great addition to the show.
"His teammates would be delighted to see him and will no doubt give him a bit of a slagging.”
Scott has been released from his contract at Shelbourne so he can take part in the ITV2 dating show.
It comes as figures reveal catch-up viewers have DOUBLED Love Island’s ratings for this series’ launch.
After drawing in just 1.5m viewers initially, a huge audience has watched the ITV2 dating show online and taken the figure to 3m, with the programme being streamed a whopping 200 million times in 2023.
