Fans roast Gordon Ramsay for flogging designer saucepans for eye-watering price
GORDON Ramsay has been roasted by fans for flogging sets of designer saucepans — for £735.
The telly chef, 56, has called the extortionate HexClad cookware the “Rolls-Royce of pans”.
Gordon, worth an estimated £610million, shared an advert for the 13-piece set on social media.
In the ad, he holds two of the HexClad frying pans across his chest.
But fans called the ad tone deaf — coming as millions of families are struggling with the soaring cost of basic foods.
One social media user wrote: “Am I renting a Rolls-Royce or buying a bloody pan???”
Another said: “A month’s rent on pans?
“Some people can’t have a Rolls Royce!”
And a third user commented: “£730 you’re having a laugh surely…
“Who can justify spending that amount these days?!”
Gordon is believed to take home a reported £90million a year in earnings.
He makes the hefty sum from his 58 restaurants and TV work in both the UK and the US.
The chef is best known for his fiery temper and potty mouth on Hell’s Kitchen, 56,
It is reported the dad-of-five can demand up to £46,000 alone for a sponsored post on Instagram.
