Loose Women panellist in cancer scare as she reveals ‘finding lump’
ACTRESS and former Loose Women star Chizzy Akudolu has opened up about her major health scare.
The actress, 49, who appeared on the ITV talk show between 2018 and 2019, went to get herself checked and found a lump in her breast back in May.
The star was thankfully given the all clear.
She took to Instagram to share her experience and pleaded with fans to "get it checked" if they spot anything unusual with their bodies.
Chizzy, who is best-known for her role as Mo Effanga in Holby City, said: "I wasn't planning on mentioning this, but it might help someone.
"In May I found a lump. The NHS offer a 2 week service for breasts and I was seen for a mammogram and ultrasound.

"Thankfully I got the all clear. Don't delay. Get it checked.
"Thank you to the NHS."
She continued in the caption: "This is a free service. If you find a lump, get it checked.
"Stay safe and keep on supporting our fantastic NHS."
Fans rushed to the comments section to share their love and support.

Chizzy was last on our screens back in December when she took part in the Celebrity Masterchef Christmas special.
Last year she also appeared on Celebrity Haunted, Kate and Koji and Man vs. Bee.
Over the years she's had plenty of impressive roles on TV including EastEnders, Stupid!, The Inbetweeners and Death in Paradise.
She's also taken part in various shows such as The Weakest Link, Richard Osman's House of Games and Strictly.
