Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel wow fans with ‘beautiful’ cottage transformation – but there’s a twist
ESCAPE to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have shared snaps of a Chateau-inspired cottage make-over they were at the heart of.
Fans of the former Channel 4 show will know that Dick and Angel are no strangers to getting stuck in and fixing a problem or designing something new.
Although they no longer work with the broadcaster on the show, the pair haven't stopped sharing what their family is up to online, and their years of hard work and handy tips have not gone unnoticed.
Earlier this year it was announced the married couple and their two children Arthur and Dorothy have ceased working with Channel 4 and that their company Chateau-de-la-Motte Husson Limited was closing down.
One couple was so inspired by their hard work on the show and ability to transform a property from derelict to glam that they challenged themselves to create the Old Diary Cottage.
Dick and Angel stumbled across the cottage and couldn't help but share their idyllic find on their Instagram account, The Chateau TV, with the property's renovators declaring that it was Dick and Angel who "motivated" them to build their dream holiday home.
