What happens to Justin in Home and Away?

Justin found out that his daughter Ava jumped into a stranger's car, which led to him attempting to track her down.

However, Justin discovered Ava jumped into the car because she got into a fight with Theo after breaking Kirby's music equipment.

She had also made a delusional claim that she was in a relationship with Theo.

Justin's distress over his missing daughter meant that he blamed Theo.

However, in a desperate attempt to fix things, Theo had sent Ava an apologetic message stating he'd made a mistake and he hoped she was okay.

Ava read the message the wrong way and decided to use it to her advantage and replied that she was in trouble which Theo then sent to Justin.

Justin later found Ava lying on a mattress in the back of a shirtless stranger's combi.

Justin analysed the situation and rushed over to the stranger.

However, the judge decided to sentence Justin for grevious bodily harm (GBH) and sentenced him to an 18-month intensive corrective order to be served within the community.

He also ordered Justin under went anger management counselling and 500 hours of community service.

If Justin breached his order, he would potentially be arrested and serve the term in prison.

However, Justin and his loved ones celebrated the news as they were grateful he wasn't going to prison.

Theo brought Justin back to earth stating completing 500 hours of community service would be difficult alongside his own work commitments.

Justin apologised to Theo and Leah, acknowledging he'd put them through a nightmare that had taken a toll on them.

Ava got upset that her Dad wanted to send her away and refused to leave.

She admitted after reflecting on her behaviour that all she wanted was a close bond with her Dad.

Ultimately, Justin's partner Leah persuaded Ava to move, making her see that Justin needed to focus on his legal fight.

Leah pointed out if Ava was in the courtroom, Justin would've been more focused on protecting her.

Ava later said goodbye to her loved ones which was particularly hard for Justin in case he had to say goodbye to her one last time before going to prison.
