CELEBRITY Big Brother star Fern Britton recently showed off her remarkable weight loss thanks to a free fitness app.

The former This Morning star, who is taking part on the ITV fly-on-the-wall reality show, is said to be planning to break her silence on the end of her 20-year marriage to TV chef, Phil Vickery.

TV favourite Ferne, 66, revealed last July that she had spent time working on her health and fitness with a new regime.

At the time, she took to social media to show off her trim figure while posing for a mirror selfie.

She wrote: “Stripey linen trews and soft scarf,” as she wowed her 100,000 followers with her look.

Fern could be seen pointing one toe towards the ground in baggy linen trousers, which she partnered with a white t-shirt, denim jacket and yellow scarf.

The Ready Steady Cook star wore her hair up and opted for black frame glasses in her photo, and fans praised her.

One person said: “Gosh you look amazing!” and another added: “Looking super stylish Fern!”

A third echoed: “You look sooooo much younger Fern,” and a fourth wrote: “Looking so amazing.”

Fern also completed the Couch to 5k and has shared her progress and running videos with fans.

Now Ferne has headed into the famous Big Brother house for a new challenge.

The Sun revealed that Ferne “won’t hold back” on the breakdown of her relationship with This Morning’s resident chef Phil Vickery while on the show.

It comes after she confessed to insiders about “losing trust” after the end of her marriage in 2020.

“Fern spoke to producers in hiding about the breakdown of her marriage, she was really honest,” our source said.

“She’s been really opening up and says she will talk about it in the House. Fern thinks it’s time for her to open up about the divorce and let it all out.

“It’s made her lose trust in men because they were together for 20 years. When the relationship broke down it was a really difficult time for her.

“She’s hoping with CBB it’s a really good chance to clear all the rumours up once and for all.

“It’s also an opportunity for her to step out on her own because even when she was on This Morning, her ex Phil was there.”

Fern became a household name after hosting This Morning.

Phil and Fern met on This Morning back in the 90s, when she hosted alongside Phillip Schofield.

Speaking about the beginnings of their romance, Fern told the Telegraph in 2016: “The boys were four; Grace hadn’t even started toddling.

“I remember thinking at the time that nobody was going to take a 40-something woman with three kids.

“Then, one day at work, someone said, ‘Phil Vickery fancies you.’ And I went, ‘Remind me – which one is he?’

The former couple share daughter Winnie together, who was born in August 2001.

Fern also has twins Harry and Jack, and daughter Grace with her ex husband Clive Jones.
