"I had to suck it up. I was drinking far too much while filming. I think we shot for 12 weeks and 80 per cent of that time I was drinking too much."

She recollected one instance where she and castmate Alex Reid sat for two hours and weren't allowed to leave.

"I brought a bottle of gin and was drinking it from my bag… they ended up confiscating it off me."

Ultimately, Sarah suffered from a mental breakdown.

After filming ended Sarah started going back to the gym and stopped drinking, adopting a healthier lifestyle.
