The BBC star Charles Hanson shared a throwback photograph from his life in the 70s.

He was inspired to post it after experiencing the nostalgia and sentiments guests bring on the much-loved BBC show, Antiques Road Trip.

Taking to X - recently renamed from Twitter - he wrote: "A lot of my love for antiques and history is the nostalgia, sentiment and memories, heirlooms and works on paper can give us humble human beings.

"It lives on Here is me, Summer 1978 modelling the push chair of the day with my stylish parents in colours evocative of the late 70s!"

Fans rushed to comment on the adorable and nostalgic photograph.

One penned: "I love this! Your facial expression is still saying Get outta here! Fab photo!"

Another gushed: "Fabulous! I loved the 70s you look so much like your Dad!"

This comes after the BBC aired a celebrity version of Antiques Road Trip.

Ex-EastEnders star Danny Dyer appeared on the show spin-off alongside his daughter Dani Dyer.

However, Danny was left red-faced when an emporium Essex shop owner failed to recognise him.

She asked: "Who are you?"

Pointing at his face, he said: "Danny, you've seen me on EastEnders?"

The shop owner replied: "I usually watch Coronation Street."

Gobsmacked by her revelation, Danny put his face in his hands and said: "I'm trying to impress you because I want to buy some stuff from you. But it's backfired on me, quite embarrassing."

Viewers were left in hysterics as Danny failed to impress the Essex shop owner.

Antiques Road Trip airs weekdays at 4:30pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
