Who is Indian Idol 2023 winner Rishi Singh?
INDIAN IDOL crowned Rishi Singh as the winner of the singing competition's 13th season in April 2023.
The show has previously launched stars Sireesha Bhagavatula, Rahul Vaidya and Monali Thakur to fame.
Who is Rishi Singh?
Rishi Singh is a singer from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh in India.
He was a contestant on the 13th season of Indian Idol.
During the course of the reality TV show, Singh found out that he was adopted.
Speaking about having such big news revealed on TV, Singh told the that he was "taken aback" by the revelation.

He said: "I think what was most important was that I accepted the truth, that was the only way I could lead a harmonious life with my parents."
He added that he hopes viewers at home took some inspiration from the situation, saying: "I think everyone has seen the bond that we share.
"They related to me and our story and I think so many other families like us will get the courage to accept their truth through us."

Rishi was crowned the winner of Indian Idol in April 2023.

After being announced as the winner, Rishi was awarded the prize money of Rs 25 lakh (over £23.5k) and a new car.
What does Rishi Singh do now?
Singh has spoken about his plans for life post-Indian Idol, revealing he wants to use his prize money from the show to fund his music career.
He will also embark on a tour with Indian Idol and his co-stars.
Rishi told the : "There are international shows that we are doing for Indian Idol, so everyone will perform there.
"Besides, we will work to create original music. I will spend this money on music."
He hinted that his future music may be different from what his fans are used to, saying: "There are many aspects of music that I want to explore."
Singh added: "I got to learn a lot on this journey.
"I want to tread carefully, enjoy my music, and hope to bring something new for people."
